Description
Created with ancestral and artisanal influences, this lampe references the roots of decorative design with a raw and refined shape and stunning frosted white finish.
The Land Lampe Berger in Frosted White was created by industrial designer Anthony Gambus in his first collaboration with Maison Berger Paris. This lampe features a distinctive metal cage-like cap. In addition to its modern aesthetics, the catalytic lampe is designed to be easily handled without contact with its hot burner. The rounded curves of the lamp’s body are inspired by traditional pottery. To maintain a sense of mystery and balance with the cold coloring of the Lampe Berger in Frosted White, Maison Berger Paris suggests pairing the lampe with the natural floral scent of Wildflower.
Lamp sold in a gift pack with accessories: wick-burner, Land Silver Frame diffuser top, stopper cap, and funnel.
Originally developed to purify the air of French hospitals in the late 1800s, by pharmacist technician Maurice Berger, the Lampe Berger quickly became popular with the public. Over its120 years the lamp has been re-envisioned by leading artists and style makers such as Jean Cocteau, Picasso and Coco Chanel ensuring that style and beauty are forever linked with the delicate fragrances of these practical home accessories.
A Lampe Berger uses a catalytic process to purify the air. The stone burner in the wick assembly is ignited for TWO Minutes, then after blowing out the flame, the heated stone is a low-temperature catalytic element that diffuses the fragrances throughout the room. Not using an open flame means that the lamp is safer to use than scented candles and unlike candles, the fragrances are diffused more efficiently into the room without being destroyed by the flame.
